(*-*) Hai Thar peoplez. I guess this is the place where I tell you a bit of myself. But first off I wanna make it clear that I’m not the writer. In fact I hate writing essays; I’m more of a visual guy. Yes I’m a guy.
I watch anime as much as I can… well, perhaps I watch too much though (^-^). I don’t know why I like it, I just do, it’s like “do you really need a reason to fall in love with someone when your heart tells you that you love ‘em?”. I started watching anime with bleach and naruto in 2005; I guess that’s where it all started. But my addiction started after high school in 2008 when my friends recommended some anime series to me. After that I just kept watching and was pulled into the addiction that is the “Otaku” (*^*).
After watching a bunch of anime in my first months I found out about something called “manga” and its close ties with anime. Then my addiction just grew. Now I’m pretty stable and handle myself quite well, for the most part (¬_¬").
During my time with anime and manga, I’ve come to learn a bit about Japanese culture (*¬*) and fell in love with it. Gotta love Japan.
So I love anime and manga but above all else I love stories. And I like my stories like I like food, balanced! What I mean by that is how a story is put together. I see story making like cooking, where the director is the cook and he/she needs to put the right amount of something at the right time and the right place. That’s how to make an awesome if not perfect story. On the other hand bad stories are just brought out by bad writers and directors. A story sinks or swims based on how it is shown and there are a lot of bad authors and directors out there. But of course, art style and characters are also what I look for in an anime or manga. I don’t really find myself compelled to read something that looks weird but I end up doing so if and only if it’s got an interesting story to tell.
Aside from anime and manga, I’ve gotz great interest in technology and electronics but mostly computers. Thought I’d write that in just in case you’re interested (^o^).
