Fall 2011 Anime Preview

The two most popular charts are out. Credits go to the makers (that are listed on the charts):

I've been pretty busy lately, and these "season preview" posts are probably the most time-consuming posts that I make. This season looks like it will be my busiest season yet, as I'll be picking up quite a few anime. I'll be watching a large number of them with no time to give them all episodic posts.

It'll be the same thing as last time(s). I won't include the description of anything that's Season 2, since anyone that watched it before will already know what it's about. Anyone that hasn't watched it yet will probably look for the first season before watching the second one, anyway. Some have also been left out after being deemed as kids shows, which I have no intention of even mentioning.
Aaro Note~: I also hate editing these things. Anyway, none of the descriptions were written by us, though I edited them freely.

Busou Shinki Moon Angel - based off figurine line (lulz) [Trailer]
Genre:
Sci-fi
Description:
The story will follow the coming-of-age and Shinki battles of Tsubasa, a boy who dreams of becoming a Shinki Master, and his Shinki Partner, Arnval MK2.
Thoughts:
This will be one of those "3-5min per episode" things. I might watch it, but there's hardly enough to talk about. How did they go from figurine line to anime? Isn't it usually the other way around?
Bern Thoughts:
The designs remind me a bit of Infinite Stratos. I'll probably check out the first couple of episodes before deciding whether to keep watching or not.
Aaro Thoughts:
It doesn't really sound that intriguing. Plus, such short episodes really piss me off, though Morita-san wa Mukuchi wasn't bad. Exception that proves the rule, somehow.
Djr7 Thoughts:
Looks interesting, but being 3-5min episodes and the fact that it's meant for the PSN with a game adaptation tells me that this is just about action and not a real show. I might watch the first few episodes, but it's not enough for me to get excited or really care to watch.

Hunter X Hunter - based off manga [Trailer]
Genre:
Action, Adventure, Fantasy, Shounen
Description:
Hunters are a special breed, dedicated to tracking down treasures, magical beasts, and even other men. But such pursuits require a license, and less than one in a hundred thousand can pass the gruelling qualification exam. Those who do pass gain access to restricted areas, amazing stores of information, and the right to call themselves Hunters.
Thoughts:
I think I'll be biased here and just say no. It's a simple shounen story that seems too simple for my complex mind!
Bern Thoughts:
The manga was already adapted before, and it seems that this second adaptation will start from the very beginning again. This will probably be one of the long-running shounens. I'm not going to follow this.

Aaro Thoughts:
I usually hate it when new adaptations start from the very beginning. Do you think you're better or something? Despite being an FMA fan, I despised how S2 was a re-telling. Oh, and no to this anime. Just not into it.
Djr7 Thoughts:
This is probably just a money-grabber, as I still don't understand the pot of having repeated adaptations. Won't watch.

Chihayafuru - based off manga [Trailer]
Genre:
Drama, Slice Of Life
Description:
All her life, Chihaya's dream was to see her model sister become Japan's best. That is, until a quiet, unassuming transfer student named Arata tells her otherwise. A dream, he explains to her, is something she needs to work at herself. Arata plays a competitive version of a traditional Japanese card game - known as Hyakunin Isshu - in a way that Chihaya has never seen before. After taking Arata's place in a game, Chihaya discovers she has a passion for it. Now, Chihaya wants to become number one in the world, the Queen of Karuta.
Thoughts:
Um... This is supposedly an award-winning manga? Then again, so was Moshidora and that was painful to watch. Maybe an episode, only because it is more about a card game and not sports.
Bern Thoughts:
I'll be honest and say that this sounds kind of boring. I'm not too fond of the shoujo art style either. I'll probably only try it if I hear some amazing things from others.

Aaro Thoughts:
I see. It's another one of those "I'll take something mundane and turn it awesome-sauce" things. I usually don't pick those up, for personal reasons to do with my sanity.
Djr7 Thoughts:
It wasn't even a subbed trailer, yet it still looks really boring and pointless to watch. Also, what an ugly art-style.

Mobile Suit Gundam Age - anime original [Trailer]
Genre:
Fantasy, Sci-fi, Shounen
Description:
In A.G. 101 (the 101st year of the Advanced Generation calendar), a mysterious entity known only as "UE", or "Unknown Enemy", attacks and destroys the space colony Angel. This brutal attack becomes infamous as the "The Day the Angel Fell", and marks the beginning of humanity's war for survival. The series begins in A.G. 108, when the UE attack the space colony Ovan, where Flit Asuno lives with his mother. Flit's mother is killed by the UE, and in her belongings (in an object called the "AGE Device") he discovers the blueprints for a powerful weapon from the past - the ancient messiah named "Gundam." From these blueprints, Flit spends the next several years studying engineering at an Earth Federation base on the Nora space colony and designing the Gundam AGE-1 Normal. Seven years later, in A.G. 115, Flit completes the Gundam AGE-1 Normal, just as the UE attack Nora. In the 14 years of war with the UE, the Earth Federation has been only able to win a few victories against the strange marauders. Flit and his lineage's battle while piloting the AGE-1 to protect mankind is about to begin.
Thoughts:
Now, I know there are many complaints about it looking like a kid's show, and maybe it will be. Either way, I'll be 100% watching this through. Maybe being kids, they can be less emo and more fun about shooting everything up without crying every episode. I mean, I hated Gundam 00 and I still finished it. This can't be worse, right?
Bern Thoughts:
I've never seen a single episode from the Gundam series (I know, shoot me), and I don't really plan on starting now. I tend to avoid mecha anyway.
Aaro Thoughts:
I heard "Gundam" and went "no".
Djr7 Thoughts:
I have to admit, I've enjoyed some of the Gundam series, but this one just looks awful. It's geared towards a childish audience, and it just isn't dark enough for me. Definitely no-go.

Guilty Crown - anime original [Trailer]
Genre:
Action, Fantasy
Description:
Ohma Shu is a 17-year-old boy who has a psychic power in his right hand. He can use the power "ability of king" to extract tools or weapons from his friends. His life changes when he meets a girl, a member of a resistance guerrilla group called "undertakers". The members pilot mecha weapons to fight the government.
Thoughts:
Flashback of Code Geass, anyone? Oh wait, the writing's done by the people that did Code Geass, so no surprise there. I wasn't a huge fan of Code Geass, but it had its moments (at least, in season one). This is another one on the large list of anime that I will be following.
Bern Thoughts:
I saw some pictures and the trailer floating around a couple of months back, and I was left very intrigued. The fact that it's an anime original is always a plus. I'm definitely going to watch this.
Aaro Thoughts:
There's something about this that bothers and intrigues me. He extracts things "from" his friends? What the hell? But that's not enough to get me to watch.
Djr7 Thoughts:
I absolutely loved Code Geass (so much so that I watched it twice), so I'll totally look into this.

Un-Go - based off light novel/anime original [Trailer]
Genre:
Mystery
Description:
This is a Meiji-era story about a detetive named Yuki Shinjuro, who solves various incidents that happen in his circle of friends. This adaptation will utilize an original story set in the near future, revolving around the detective and a boy named Inga, who continually encounters mysterious cases.
Thoughts:
Another detective story? Will it be like Go-sick/ that other one airin right now, or a REAL detective story. I can only pray...
Bern Thoughts:
A mystery anime by BONES, eh? I'm intrigued, but I'm also skeptical because having the "mystery" tag on it often leads to some poorly-written mysteries. I'll probably check out the first few episodes.
Edit: Just checked out the trailer. The cast seems interesting enough.
Aaro Thoughts:
I feel like I want to watch, but I'm highly suspicious. How can an anime set in the past feature a story taking place in the future? I'm so confused.
Djr7 Thoughts:
BONES does a good job of reeling me in for some of their shows, and it seems this one will rely heavily on its characters. I'll watch it initially and go from there.

Kyoukai Senjou no Horizon - based off light novel [Trailer]
Genre:
Battle, Harem, Fantasy
Description:
In the far future, humans abandon the devastated Earth and move to the upper world "Tenjo". But Tenjo and the Law of Causation collapse by a war, and humans returns to the Earth, which has turned into an uninhabitable planet except for the Shinshu area. Shinshu is too small to accommodate all the humans, so they duplicate the area and create "Juso Sekai". In order to rebuild Tenjo and the Law of Causation, the returned humans start the reproduction of history from B.C. 10,000. When the reproduction runs until A.D. 1413, a war breaks out in Shinshu and Juso Sekai falls onto the original world. The humans living in Juso Sekai lose their land and invade the original world. People in Shinshu surrender and the land is divided by the invaders from Juso Sekai. They try to resume the history reproduction from A.D. 1457, but the update of history terminates in A.D. 1648. A rumour of apocalypse begins to spread throughout the world.
Thoughts:
The interesting airship design caught my eye. Though it is up against some hard competition to get weekly posts, I'll for sure watch it.
Bern Thoughts:
A light novel adaptation by Sunrise. The premise seems interesting enough, and the character designs doesn't look too bad, either. I'm watching this.
Aaro Thoughts:
The description sounds terrible. If there's any curiosity, I think it'll happen after the anime is done and I know more about it.
Djr7 Thoughts:
Based on the trailer, it looks promising, but that'll depend on how well they work with the light novel and really tell a good story. I'll watch it.

Persona 4 - based off PS2 game [Trailer]
Genre:
Action, Fantasy, School Life
Description:
Persona 4 takes place in the fictional, rural Japanese town of Inaba, which lies among floodplains and has its own high school and shopping districts. Unexplained murders have taken place in the small town, where bodies are found dangling among television antennas and their causes of death unknown. At the same time, rumour has begun to spread that watching a switched-off television set on rainy midnights will reveal a person's soul mate. Following the rumour, a group of high school students discovered a fog-shrouded world, accessed through television sets, infested with monsters called Shadows. They also discovered each of their Shadow Selves, symbolizing their suppressed personalities. Confronting their Shadow Selves awakened their ability to summon beings known as Personas. Using Personas, the students formed the Investigation Team to investigate the connection between the TV World and the murders, and possibly capture the culprit.
Thoughts:
I purposely played this game so that I won't get spoiled on what happens. I definitely want to see how well it does for an anime, as it was pretty fun game. This is probably not episodic material, as I don't want to spoil anything, but it's definitely worth watching.
Bern Thoughts:
I have absolute no experience in the Persona series, but P4 seems to be one of the more highly anticipated shows of the season. I'm definitely going to check this out so I can follow what Pearz is going to say about it.
Aaro Thoughts:
I never played Persona 4, but I have the experience of seeing my brother, Pearz and Rho all go for it. If anything, I'll watch it all in one-go after it finishes.
Djr7 Thoughts:
I also have no experience with the Persona games; it'll be interesting to see how well they make the anime adaptation of a video game. I'll watch it.

Shinrayu? Ika Masume - based off manga [Trailer]
Genre:
Comedy
Description:
Sequel to first season.
Thoughts:
I didn't watch the first season, though it didn't look that bad. Aaro will probably pick this up.
Bern Thoughts:
Same as Pearz. I've heard that it's a really good comedy, but I've never bothered to watch it.
Aaro Thoughts:
Oh, wow, finally something I will definitely watch. The first season was really good and random, and this is probably post-worthy due to the lack of serious continuity.
Djr7 Thoughts:
This actually seems like a good show to watch on the side. I'll look into it and take a look at the first season, too.

Fate/Zero - based off light novel [Trailer]
Genre:
Action, Fantasy
Description:
Prequel to Fate/Stay Night
Thoughts:
Prequel? I'm in. Probably even weekly posts!
Bern Thoughts:
Another one of the more anticipated shows. Even though I'm not a big Type-Moon guy, I'm definitely going to watch this. I've seen both F/SN and UBW.
Aaro Thoughts:
Never saw Fate/Stay Night. Never wanted to.
Djr7 Thoughts:
Fate/Stay Night kept me interested enough to finish watching it, so I'll definitely look into this. It looks better than the first season.

Working!! - based off manga [Trailer]
Genre:
Comedy, Slice of Life
Description:
Sequel to Working
Thoughts:
I'll let Aaro cover this, since he watched Season 1 and loved it with a passion.
Bern Thoughts:
I'm definitely following this, since I quite liked the first season.

Aaro Thoughts:
What propagation of lies, Pearz. I'll watch this though. *squeal*
Djr7 Thoughts:
Well, since everyone else appears to like it, I'll have to look up the first season. This does seem to be an interesting show to watch on the side, so I'll give it a shot.

Maken-Ki! - based off manga [Trailer]
Genre:
Battle, Comedy, Harem, School Life
Description:
Takeru Ohyama, a young and normal yet perverted-minded guy, got accepted and now goes to a school that, unknown to him, is where combat and magic is used. On the first day, he meets again after three years: Haruko Amaya, his childhood friend; Inaho Kushiya, a girl who says she's his fiancee; and Kodama Himegami, a blonde who wants to kill him. Finding out that there are many girls there that just don't like him, he is told that everyone there uses a special magic ability while using an item or weapon called a Maken. Later, he finds that no Maken is acceptable for him and doesn't know what to do, since in this school the students get into duels that showcase their magic and combat power, to which he seemingly has none.
Thoughts:
First harem anime to talk about. There's nothing new about girls battling it out with only one useless male lead. I don't have time this season to indulge in these random stuffs, so not even a trial episode.
Bern Thoughts:
Don't think I'll pick this up. I usually watch one harem-like anime a season, but there's a lot of other stand-out shows I'd rather watch over this one.
Aaro Thoughts:
MxO...? No to this one, but this did remind me of how much Rho cried when MxO was cancelled.

Kimi to Boku - based off manga [Trailer]
Genre:
Comedy, School Life, Slice of Life
Description:
The story revolves around 4 teens (a pair of twins, an effiminate guy, and the class head) who have known each other since early childhood. A half-Japanese transfer student joins the circle.
Thoughts:
Group of 4 guys instead of 4 girls? What blasphemy! But wait, a transfer student? *flashbacks of Ouran* Maybe I'll give this a chance... Probably not, unless things turn super-funny.
Bern Thoughts:
Whether it's 4 guys or 4 girls, this type of show isn't my cup of tea.
Aaro Thoughts:
What a seriously crappy description. Like Pearz, I'm reminded of Ouran (minus Haruhi). I'll watch this, mainly because I'm interested in what 4 guys can get into vs the stuff I've seen 4 girls do.

Fujilog Season 2 - anime original [Trailer]
Genre:
Comedy, Slice of Life
Description:
Sequel to first season.
Thoughts:
No one subbed tje first season, and I would think that the second season will be the same. I mean, it's another one of those 5min per episode ones.
Aaro Thoughts:
Obviously not, if no one's even going to sub it. Plus, see Busou Shinki Moon Angel for my thoughts on short episodes.

Mashiro-Iro Symphony - based off visual novel [Trailer]
Genre:
Comedy, Harem, Slice of Life
Description:
The story centres around a boy named Shingo Uryuu who goes to a boys academy that is merging with a prestigious girls school in the same town. Shingo is among the boys selected to attend the girls school in a temporary integrated period, before the school's actual merger.
Thoughts:
I always have to watch at least one of these to pick the best girl! This will probably just be a guilty pleasure of the season.
Bern Thoughts:
Same as Maken-ki, though this seems more appealing because there's probably going to be less ecchi content (which means less rays of light coming from another dimension). Based on an eroge, this might have a similar feel to it as Hoshizora of Spring 2011.
Aaro Thoughts:
Meh. Ecchi.

Last Exile: The Silver Wing - anime original [Trailer]
Genre:
Action, Fantasy
Description:
Alternate universe from first season.
Thoughts:
Last Exile? Steampunk? Sure, I'm going to watch this one and blog about it. I hope it is as good as the first season. *super optimistic*
Bern Thoughts:
I've never seen the first season, but I do remember that we had a Last Exile banner up on the blog. Since Pearz is "super optimistic," my interest is piqued.

Aaro Thoughts:
I'm pessimistic and feel like this will be superbly crappy. I liked Last Exile (after Rho told me to watch it, or else), but the story is done and over, and I think an alternate universe will only attempt to be a cash cow. In other news, Pearz was so excited about this anime that she made a tag for it when the announcement was made. I look forward to seeing her wail in disappointment.

Tamayura ~Hitotose~ - anime original (similiar to OVAs) [Trailer]
Genre:
Slice of Life
Description:
For her first year of high school, Fu Sawatari moves to Takehara, a scenic town near Hiroshima, on the inland sea. Her father, who has passed away, grew up in Takehara. She loves taking photographs with her father's old film camera, a Rollei 35S. The story follows her friends, who gather around her as she comes to love her new home.
Thoughts:
I remember trying to watch the first episode of the OVA. That was back when I was more gung ho about trying everything, and I still couldn't sit through it. I don't need slow-paced stuff. D:
Bern Thoughts:
I tried watching the OVAs, but couldn't get into it at all. I won't be watching this.
Aaro Thoughts:
I will take the above as a challenge and grab the OVAs. Then we'll see...

Sekai-Ichi Hatsukoi - based off manga [Trailer]
Genre:
Shounen-Ai
Description:
Sequel to first season.
Thoughts:
I'll let Aaro handle this, since he did first season.
Aaro Thoughts:
What? I thought there wasn't enough material for S2 yet! What?! (I so wish that someone better than HorribleSubs had done S1, though. It's still not archived.... Sadface.)

Lupin III - based off manga [Trailer]
Genre:
Adventure, Comedy, Crime
Description:
Sequel to third season.
Thoughts:
This seem to be one of the ones that people are looking forward to. I haven't watched or read anything from this series, so I'm not going to start now.
Bern Thoughts:
From what I hear, Lupin's a pretty badass guy, though I won't be watching this since I've never seen any of the previous seasons.
Aaro Thoughts:
It just doesn't interest me.

Phi Brain: Kami no Puzzle - anime original - [Trailer]
Genre:
Adventure
Description:
The school adventure story revolves around Kaito, a puzzle-loving freshman at the private high school named "Root Academy." He is selected as a candidate for "Phi Brain" for his extraordinary mental skills. One day, he and his childhood friend (Nonoha) tackle the "unsolvable puzzle" hidden in the underground ruins near the school. They are guided by the mobile device given to Kaito by the student council president. The puzzle is the "philosopher's puzzle," a life-threatening creation of a mysterious intelligence group known as "POG." When he defeats the puzzle, he is designated as a "Solver". Together with Nonoha and other Solvers, Kaito battles POG at "philosopher's puzzles" all over the world.
Thoughts:
I must admit, the drawing styles are a bit funky, but an anime about solving puzzles... I'm in. It is 2cour, so maybe there'll even be good puzzles, though all you see are sudokus in the PV. D:
Bern Thoughts:
I'm with Pearz. Again, being an anime original is a plus. Though not too fond of the character designs, I think I'll get used to it.
Aaro Thoughts:
lol
Djr7 Thoughts:
While the facial artwork kind of bothers me, I'll be looking into this to see where it takes me.

Bakuman Season 2 - based off manga [Tailer]
Genre:
Comedy, Slice of Life
Description:
Sequel to first season.
Thoughts:
I love the manga (maybe not the current arc), but the anime doesn't seem to do it justice. The manga is just too text-heavy and the anime just skips too many things. I probably won't even watch this one.
Bern Thoughts:
I watched a bit of the first season before dropping it, so I won't be watching this.
Aaro Thoughts:
Rho keeps telling me to read the manga, since I was the one that introduced her to it, so if anything, it's manga not anime for Bakuman.
Djr7 Thoughts:
Don't think I'll watch this one.

Boku wa Tomodachi ga Sukunai - based off light novel [Trailer]
Genre:
Comedy, Slice of Life
Description:
Hasegawa Kodaka has transferred schools, and he's having a hard time making friends. It doesn't help that his blond hair tends to make people think he's a delinquent. One day, he runs into his bad-tempered solitary classmate Yozora while she's talking animatedly to her imaginary friend, Tomo. Realizing that neither of them have any actual friends, they decide that the best way to alter this situation is to form a club and start recruiting. That is how "Rinjinbu" was formed, a club specifically designed for people who don't have very many friends. As other lonely classmates slowly join their little club, they'll try to learn how to build friendships through cooking together, playing games, and other group activities. But will this group of relationship-challenged misfits really be able to get along?
Thoughts:
This manga is just awesome. I started following it 2-3 chapters in and I've been looking forward to new chapters every time. It's simply just awesome humour; too bad it is near impossible to blog about, but I still highly recommend it.
Bern Thoughts:
All. Of. My. Wants. This is one of the shows that I'm really looking forward to. I've read the the translated manga chapters and listened to the translated drama CD, as well.
Aaro Thoughts:
I'm curious. I'll watch after the season's done.
Djr7 Thoughts:
Honestly, it looks like a good laugh, so I'll add this to my future watch-list.

Maji de Watashi ni Koi Shinasai - based off visual novel [Trailer]
Genre:
Battle, Comedy, Harem, School Life
Description:
A second-year student is always with his close friends, 4 boys and 3 girls. They have all known each other since they were young and have done many things together. With the new semester, they welcome 2 girls into their group and things begin to change.
Thoughts:
Holy crap, one of the girls in the harem looks like she's 40 - and not like the whole "I'm 40 but look like I'm 13" way. This one looks less fun with all the focus on battling and less harem-building. Maybe I'll watch an episode, but that old hag needs to gtfo.
Bern Thoughts:
Most likely going to watch this. I've seen KimiAru, so I'll probably watch MajiKoi too. I've heard some good things about the visual novel as well.
Aaro Thoughts:
No, but I do have a question: how come the description doesn't even mention battling?
Djr7 Thoughts:
Partial nudity and crazy fighting? Sure, why not!

Mirai Nikki - based off manga [Trailer]
Genre:
Action, Mystery, Psychological, Supernatural
Description:
In second-year middle school and 14 years old, Amano Yukiteru is a boy who has a problem with making friends. He keeps a diary on his cell phone of the things he witnesses, believing himself to be a bystander to the world's happenings. Yuki's only salvation from solitude are his imaginary friends, one of whom turns out to be the not-so-imaginary Dues Ex Machina, an apparent Lord of Time and Space. Dues tells Yukiteru that he's planning a "fun game" and upgrades his cell phone to a new model that predicts the future. Yuki is quick to abuse his new power but is brought back down to earth when the diary predicts his own death. After managing to fend off his would-be murderer, Yuki discovers that Dues' game involves himself and eleven others with precognitive diaries in a fight to the death for an incredible prize going to the last man standing. Out-gunned and desperate to survive, Yuki teams up with Gasai Yuno, his psychotic stalker who'd do anything from killing to dying for him. A spectacular story full of twists and double crosses ensues as the twelve diary holders scramble to find each others' identities while keeping themselves alive.
Thoughts:
This was one of my favourite manga while I was keeping up with it. Near the end, things started to turn to shit, but that is just my opinion. I'll probably just watch this one and not blog about it since I don't want to ruin it. Finally, another insane yandere comes to anime!
Bern Thoughts:
I haven't read the manga, so this might actually be a thrilling ride. Inb4 spoilers.
Aaro Thoughts:
Once more, not something I'll keep up with but curiosity will lead me to watch it afterwards.
Djr7 Thoughts:
Mystery, psychological, supernatural - quite possibly my favourite combination. I'm really looking forward to this!

Shakugan no Shana 3- anime original [Trailer]
Genre:
Action, Fantasy
Description:
Sequel (and final) to second season.
Thoughts:
I don't even remember what this is about or how I sat through the first two seasons. I just know that I hate Shana and hope she burns in hell.
Bern Thoughts:
It's been years since I've seen this. All I remember about it is KugiRie, melon pan, red hair, and swords. Probably still going to watch this just because.
Aaro Thoughts:
There's just no reason why I would.
Djr7 Thoughts:
I actually enjoyed the first season, as a dub. Yes, I know, but Shana had a much better voice actor in S1 over S2, so I might watch this if I ever go back and finish S2.

C3 ~CubexCursedxCurious - based off light novel [Trailer][Trailer2]
Genre:
Action, Comedy, School Life
Description:
The story begins when a high school student named Haruaki Yachi receives a mysterious, super-heavy black cube from his father overseas. That night, Haruaki wakes up to a suspicious noise in the kitchen, and he discovers a "fully naked female thief of rice crackers". The girl, Fear, is the first of several surprises that Haruaki receives.
Thoughts:
The PV looked interesting and based on its name, C^3 is better than just C. So, that means that it is an 8/10 anime? That's definitely worth watching. XD I might even blog about it, depending on how things go, even if because the name is just horribly done.
Bern Thoughts:
Before I saw the PV a couple of months back, I thought this was going to be a harem with Fear as the gimmick. After I saw the PV, I became very interested because it looks pretty well done. I'm looking forward to this.
Edit: Just saw the second PV. What immediately caught me was that Tamura Yukari is using almost the exact same voice she used when she played Togame from Katanagatari. Artstyle-wise, it looks extremely similar to a fellow Silver Link production, BakaTest, so this should be very pleasing to the eyes. Looking forward to this even more.
Aaro Thoughts:
It's not gripping. If anything, my suspicions cause me to run.
Djr7 Thoughts:
The entire fear/crazy girl thing has me interested, so I'll look into it.

Ben-To - based off light novel [Trailer]
Genre:
Action, Comedy, School Life
Description:
The story revolves around a poor high school student named You Satou. Satou goes to the supermarket one day and discovers a bento (boxed meal) on sale at half price. Just as he reaches to grab it, he ends up on the floor unconscious. Satou has just entered the fierce, no-holds-barred "supermarket survival battle" for the half-price bento.
Thoughts:
The trailer looked awesome; I think I want to watch this. It's hard to blog about humour-based anime though, so it will probably be something I watch and not blog about.
Bern Thoughts:
Sounds like fun. Just imagine spontaneous fights breaking out at your local supermarket because of a half-priced lunch. Now I'm hungry.
Aaro Thoughts:
Hunger aside, the description is interesting but not so much the idea. I don't usually like "action"...
Djr7 Thoughts:
Looks like fun. Interesting mix of action and comedy, so I'll probably watch it on the side.

So, the final compiled TL;DR version:
Anime with high likelihood of blogging:
Gundam Age, Guilty Crown, Fate/Zero, Last Exile, C3: CubedxCursedxCurious
Continued from last season: Penguindrum

Anime I'll be watching without posting about:
Persona 4, Boku wa Tomodachi ga Sukunai, Mirai Nikki, Shakugan no Shana (maybe if I have time to complete the first series, which I don't remember),

Anime for the one-episode trial:
Un-Go, Kyoukai Senjou no Horizon, Mashiro Iro Symphony, Phi Brain: Kami no Puzzle, Ben-To

It's going to be a very busy season for me; hopefully, I won't have to drop too many and be able to write about them all.

~Pearz
