Well, I had not planned to make another post on Kaiji until the end of the season, but I think this episode warrants at least a little reaction. Anyway, here's a super short post.
Yeah, I'm only going to post screenshots of this scene just so you can relive the feeling along with me. I cringed so hard; I still have this weird feeling in my fingers as I type this. The first thing I thought was that Ichijou was actually going to rip off his fingernail, but what came wasn't any worse. I'm sure a lot of you were imagining the same feeling in your own fingers; saying that it wouldn't be a very good feeling is more than an understatement.
Personally, I've been fortunate enough to not have anything bad happen to my fingernails, like getting them torn or slammed on. If any of you ever happened to have something like that happen, I'm sure the feeling while watching this scene would have been a lot worse. It would suck if you have a fear of needles, too. I can't wait to see the look on Ichijou's face when Kaiji finally beats the Bog.
As for what Kaiji and his group plans, I really have no idea. I have a hunch that the guys Kaiji asked Endou to hire were the guys that came to fix the Bog after Sakazaki had broken it. Then again, Ichijou and his goons seems to have tested it and the the block on the machine works fine. I wonder what Kaiji has up his sleeve. . . .
